Oilseed Crops are grown primarily for the oil contained in the seeds. They are used as a cooking medium as most of them are edible. For Example, groundnut oil,sunflower oil, coconut oil etc. They are also used as raw materials for the production of soap, cosmetics, ointments, etc.
